Responsibilities
Industry Cloud Strategy and Solution Development (Energy and Utilities Focus)
Vision and Strategy: contribute to and build a compelling vision, multi-year strategy, and prioritized roadmap for the Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud. Evangelize this vision with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders globally.
Market and Customer Insights: leverage market analysis, competitive intelligence, and direct customer research to define and validate the product roadmap and identify new opportunities.
Salesforce Solution Development: define, conceptualize, and guide the development of industry-specific Salesforce solutions and applications; collaborate with product management and engineering to bring solutions to life.
Solution Synthesis: design and champion common platform components and configurable industry-specific applications that address global Energy and Utilities needs.
Innovation Leadership: drive innovation across the Energy and Utilities Cloud, leveraging AI (Einstein and Agentforce), Data Cloud, and the Salesforce platform.
Go-to-Market and Commercialization (Energy and Utilities Focus)
GTM Strategy and Planning: develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and operational plan with global and regional teams.
Product and Feature Evangelism: champion the Energy and Utilities Cloud across Marketing, Sales, Support, Services, Partners, and Customers.
Sales Enablement Excellence: create compelling assets for sales, including presentations, demos, solution maps, white papers, data sheets, and ROI tools tailored to the sector.
Partner Ecosystem Development: collaborate with SIs and ISVs to build and market joint solutions that drive pipeline and ACV.
Industry Leadership and Customer Engagement: deliver thought leadership and engage customers and executives to build relationships and trust; support pre- and post-sales activities as needed.
Strategic Deal Support: provide expert support for strategic opportunities, presenting product vision and roadmaps to customer executives.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Extensive Industry and Functional Experience: 12+ years in product strategy, management, solutions development, marketing, or GTM leadership, with 7+ years in Energy and Utilities and deep understanding of the value chain, processes, market structures, and regulatory environments.
Enterprise SaaS Expertise: success in defining and bringing B2B SaaS/enterprise software solutions to market (CRM, CIS, EAM, MDM, FSM, DERMS platforms).
Strategic and Analytical Acumen: ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Leadership and Influence: experience leading international, cross-functional teams; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Communication Excellence: strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including high-level discussions with executives.
Dynamic Environment Aptitude: energy and effectiveness in fast-paced, startup-like settings.
Customer-Obsessed: strong empathy for customers and focus on their success.
Collaboration and Teamwork: natural collaborator across the organization.
Education: Bachelor''s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
Travel: willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 30–50%).
