Senior DevOps Engineer | Up to £100k | London (2–3 days onsite)We’re helping a UK scale-up hire their first in-house DevOps engineer. They’ve built a secure messaging platform that’s already live with thousands of users and they’re scaling hard. Right now one consultant runs all their infra and pipelines. This hire is about bringing that knowledge in-house and making it rock solid.You’ll sit alongside the backend team and take full ownership of infrastructure and CI/CD. It’s fast-paced, ambitious, and mission-critical. The platform is used by enterprise and government clients who care about security and uptime.What you’ll be doing

Running and scaling containerised infrastructure on GCP/AWS.Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub ActionsManaging Kubernetes clusters, image pipelines, scaling, rollouts, rollbacks, ingress, and service-to-service networkingDefining infrastructure as code in TerraformOwning monitoring and alerting (Prometheus/Grafana), plus backups and disaster recoveryHandling object storage (S3-style) and data flows across multiple environmentsWhat they’re looking for

Strong DevOps / platform background in product teams moving fastSolid experience across either GCP/AWS, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Terraform, DockerGood fundamentals in security, networking, and cost/performance trade-offsSomeone who can hit the ground running and work closely with backend engineersThe setup
