Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer - Data Migration Project Location:London M-25 Employment Type: Permanent Reports To: Lead DevOps Engineer Overview: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our data migration project, which aims to transition data from Legacy databases to the AWS cloud. This role is specifically for candidates who have active SC clearance. The Senior DevOps Engineer will focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure and automation required to ensure a smooth, secure, and efficient migration process while also mentoring and supporting other DevOps members in the team. The role will also require strong customer-facing skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure tailored for data migration and cloud storage. Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently. Establish and enforce AWS IAM policies and roles to ensure secure access management. Automation and CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automating data migration processes, deployments, and testing.
