Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer - Permanent - Reading/Hybrid (3 days a week on site) - Up to £90,000 + Benefits AI Tooling/CI/CD/Bespoke application development/Telecoms Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure. Support the delivery of bespoke applications using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Monitor, maintain, and optimise application performance, availability, and security. Implement infrastructure automation, deployment processes, and operational best practices. Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, reliability, and release velocity. Ensure compliance with security standards, vulnerability management, and operational governance. Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve productivity and quality. Support AI governance, ensuring secure and responsible use of AI technologies within engineering teams. About You Proven experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role. Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of CI/CD tools, source control systems, and Agile delivery practices. Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and security best practices. Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar technologies.
