We are currently working with a Local Authority in the South West who are looking for a Senior Development Valuer to join their Asset Management and Property Services team.You will work as part of the authority''s Development and Disposals team to deliver challenging capital receipt targets, acquisitions and undertake property reviews, valuations, development and feasibility studiesJob: Senior Development ValuerDuration: 6 MonthsStart date: May 2026Rate: £450-£500 per day via Umbrella, Inside IR35Site presence: HybridRole DetailsLead and project manage a variety of development proposals including some complex schemes which generate substantial capital receiptsUndertake such work necessary to lead to disposals of surplus Council land and buildings for residential, industrial, commercial and other purposesLiaison with planning and other statutory authorities, Members, developers, land owners and being familiar with legal documentationUndertake land assembly and negotiations to secure access to land for major development related schemesTo manage planning applications, appeals, hearings and inquiries with the support of external agents and contractors for a range of complex disposalsSupport the modernisation of Asset Management and Property Services and the development of future ways of working across the serviceRequirements Post holder should hold a current driving licence and have access to a car to undertake their duties as this post will involve travelExperience of managing ..... full job details .....
