About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Development Infrastructure Officer to play a key role in the delivery and oversight of developer-funded and third-party highway infrastructure projects. These projects are secured through Section 106 (S106) and Section 278 (S278) agreements and span from planning consent through to final highway adoption. This position will act as the principal point of contact for developers, contractors, designers, and key stakeholders, ensuring projects progress smoothly while meeting legal obligations, technical standards, and programme requirements. The successful candidate will oversee technical administration, coordinate project delivery, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with highway legislation, design standards, and health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the delivery of highway infrastructure projects secured through S106 and S278 agreements. Act as the main liaison for developers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Coordinate technical and administrative processes from planning approval through to highway adoption. Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with legal agreements, engineering standards, and programme milestones. Prepare and manage formal documentation, approvals, and agreements.
