Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of new or modified parts from initial design or customer drawings through to full production release, ensuring a smooth handover into manufacturing.
• Assess feasibility at an early stage, identifying potential manufacturability issues while defining materials, tooling, fixtures, and process requirements.
• Create and maintain all technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering records, while supporting the design and validation of tooling solutions.
• Lead first-off trials and ISIR submissions, support production launch activities, and manage engineering changes to ensure quality and compliance throughout.

Requirements

• Timeserved
• Experience as a Development/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer.
• Good to Excellent CAD skills ideally on Solidworks
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience producing engineering documentation.
• Shop floor machine usage and knowledge is desirable
