Contract initially till March 2027 with extensions to followRate: £600 - 625 per day, Inside IR35Clearance: Active DV mandatory The role A senior developer is needed to provide technical leadership on the delivery of an AI-enabled tasking and workflow platform for a Defence programme. The application is moving out of Discovery into early Alpha, so you''ll be shaping the build rather than maintaining someone else''s. You''ll work in a mixed team of engineers from several suppliers, alongside a dedicated AI engineering capability. The platform combines Python/FastAPI services, React and TypeScript interfaces, Camunda workflow orchestration, modular services, data persistence, and integration with existing Defence tasking processes. Despite the AI-enabled focus of the platform, this is primarily a software engineering role.
