Senior Developer

The Liberty Recruitment Group is excited to be working in partnership with a leading Tech-enabled Analytics Consultancy based in London, who are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their award-winning InsurTech division. As part of a mixed technical team including back-end developers, testers, front-end developers and actuarial data scientists, you d be working on their market-leading insurance application, used by some of the largest London Market and International insurers to assess over £200bn in reserves. Your key focus will be: Leading the design and development of new product features, providing a holistic approach to design and development. Driving better integration between their C# and Python codebases, rewriting and restructuring code where needed to improve cohesion Address any performance bottlenecks and optimising performance of complex data workflows Championing best practice and guiding the junior team members What they re specifically looking for: C# development experience (.Net 8) Experience designing and implementing solutions in Azure (PaaS / SaaS, Cosmos DB, Batch, Blob, Azure Functions etc) Data engineering data-intensive application experience / working with large data fields Python Excellent problem-solving skills Why join them: It s an entrepreneurial environment pushing the boundaries, harnessing technology to enable more efficient analytics.
