Your role with us The Information and Digital Directorate (IDD) is responsible for delivering our ambition to make the FCDO the world''s most technologically integrated and innovative foreign ministry. This means harnessing digital, data, technology, IT security and information management to deliver our diplomatic, development and consular aims, all while keeping our people and information safe, especially from hostile actors. Main purpose of the job When you join us as a Senior Developer you''ll lead on the development of a wide range of new digital products that will transform how our organisation operates. We''re currently going through an exciting period of transformation, and you''ll play a key role in shaping our overall approach to product delivery as you work across a portfolio of digital products and services, including tools that assist diplomats in our overseas embassies. We design and build these products in house using a multi-disciplinary, full stack development team, and it will be your task to write clean, secure code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse.
