Senior Womenswear Designer Fashion Brand Denim and Outerwear Greater Manchester Hybrid About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and commercially minded Womenswear Designer to join a fast-paced and growing fashion brand. The role will focus across Denim, Outerwear and Leather, with strong Denim experience being essential. You''ll play a key role in developing trend-led, commercially relevant product, working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Technical and the wider product team from initial concept through to final product. This is a great opportunity for a designer who is passionate about product, understands the womenswear customer and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly commercial environment. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop commercial womenswear ranges across Denim.Take ownership of the design process from initial concept and trend research through to final product.Research trends, colour, fabric, washes, shapes, details and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities.Work closely with Buying and Merchandising to create commercially balanced ranges aligned to customer and trading requirements.Use sales and product performance to identify opportunities, develop best sellers and drive newness.Develop strong, trend-led product while maintaining a clear understanding of the brand handwriting and target customer.Create and present design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and technical artwork.Attend fit sessions and work ..... full job details .....
