Senior Design Manager Main Contractor Location: London Site Based Salary: £85,000 £95,000 + Package Sector: Commercial / Retail / CAT B Fit Out Project Value: £75 Million Contractor: Established Main Contractor An established, privately owned Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager to work on a major £75 million commercial and retail cut-and-carve refurbishment and CAT B fit-out project in Central London. The business has an annual turnover of approximately £150 million and specialises in technically complex commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects across London, predominantly operating under Design and Build contracts. The Role As Senior Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate the design process, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams. Responsibilities will include managing multidisciplinary design packages, chairing design meetings, monitoring design programmes and ensuring technical information is compliant, coordinated and buildable. You will also be responsible for resolving technical challenges, identifying design risks and supporting the successful delivery of the project. The Candidate The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Design Manager or experienced Design Manager within a recognised main contractor.
