Working on Water and Wastewater capital projects across the Southern Water patch, this role will lead and manage engineering design delivery for assigned projects. Spearheading and optimising the engineering assurance process for designs prepared by partner at outline design and Capital Delivery partners at tender and construction design. Your day to day will include: Develop strategies including in-depth consideration of various alternatives and options to find the best/preferred solution.Ensure that the design solution is fully understood by engaging with the client and then to use your experience of asset management to offer solutions.Fulfil the role of main point of contact with the design consultants at director level to ensure the correct level of technical performance.Lead and manage engineering design delivery for assigned projects.Provide expert engineering support to the design, construction and commissioning process from project definition through to detailed design, construction, commissioning ..... full job details .....
