Senior Design Engineer
to join their expanding team based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven engineer to take a senior role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Responsibilities
Producing and reviewing engineering drawings to support design, manufacture, assembly, and test activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standardsLeading design planning, problem-solving, and technical reviews ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with engineering best practicesOverseeing design and build programmes, managing resources effectively and driving innovation throughout the development processSupporting workshop teams to provide technical guidance during the manufacture, assembly, and testing stagesPrepare engineering estimates, calculations, and documentation, while managing design packages and verifying purchased goods meet specificationsCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and client representatives throughout project planning and executionQualifications
HNC or Degree qualified in relevant field (mechanical, product, electro-mechanical engineering/design)Extensive and demonstrable relevant engineering experience, with oilfield downhole toolsSelf-motivated and able to work under pressureGood team player with sound interpersonal skillsMust be able to clearly articulate technical principles and tool functionality and applicationGood working knowledge of CAD system Solid works or InventorHigh level of mathematical capability to perform stress and load calculationsAbility to provide engineering solutions to client problemsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritise conflicting workloads and work to ..... full job details .....
