This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in trenching systems, cable lay equipment, and ROV technology who thrives on delivering cutting-edge subsea solutions from concept through to deployment.As a Senior Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the full design lifecycle-from initial concept, detailed design, and analysis, through to testing, validation, and delivery. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you''ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of subsea trenching and marine systems.Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of subsea trenching systems, cable lay equipment, and ROV components. - Manage the full design lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, class approvals (DNV-GL/Lloyd''s), and project specifications. - Perform structural and stress analysis, including hand calculations, FEA (ANSYS), and free body diagrams. - Drive material selection, corrosion mitigation, and hydraulic system design for subsea environments. - Collaborate with electrical, control, and naval engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration. - Oversee and check design deliverables, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers. ..... full job details .....
