As a global leader in electric golf trolleys, bags, and accessories, PowaKaddy blends intelligent technology with sleek design to create game-changing products for golfers worldwide.This is an exciting opportunity to join their in-house RandD and engineering team as a Senior Design Engineer, playing a vital role in the end-to-end development of next-generation products that lead the field in performance, reliability, and innovation. As Senior Design Engineer, you''ll be fully involved with design lifecycle—from early concept development through to production launch. You''ll be designing premium products that are compact, durable, and intelligently engineered, working closely with both internal teams and international manufacturing partners.Location : Kent - Maidstone, Rochester, Gravesend, Dartford, Sittingbourne, Canterbury, Tonbridge, Ashford, Rainham, Aylesford, FavershamSalary : Circa £50K + Pension + 25 days annual leave (plus BH 33 days total) + Discounts on Company Products + Free onsite parking + Hybrid Working (after qualifying period)Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies such as frames, folding mechanisms, and drive systemsCreate robust CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorksConduct tolerance analysis, DFM reviews, and generate supporting documentationLead design validation testing, FMEA processes, and real-world trialsWork directly with UK and overseas suppliers to ensure manufacturability and production readinessSupport tooling design, inspection planning, and production implementationMentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous design improvementsWhat You''ll Need

Ideally a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related disciplineExtensive experience in SolidWorks and mechanical assembly designStrong knowledge of injection moulding, metal fabrication, CNC machining, and prototypingDemonstrable experience bringing mechanical products from concept through to manufactureConfident working with global supply chains and manufacturing teamsA passion for well-designed, high-quality products and a hands-on, problem-solving approachHow to Apply
