Senior Design Engineer Location: Lincolnshire (Bourne)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift About Lynx is working with an innovative manufacturer specializing in mobile welfare facilities with cutting-edge technology in energy efficiency. Their products use renewable energy management systems to deliver sustainable on-site solutions. Due to significant growth and their objective to expand into new markets, they are looking to strengthen the engineering department. The Role The company are looking for a Senior Design Engineer who can create and develop innovative solutions for mobile site facilities and follow them through to implementation within our product range. Key Responsibilities: Interpret design briefs and provide creative solutions to design problems Create 3D models using PTC Creo Perform FEA analysis of parts and assemblies using PTC Creo-Simulate Create detailed drawings for manufacture across various production processes Take products through the entire design process from conception to production Liaise with suppliers to source parts Interact with in-house manufacturing to improve efficiency through better design Create and update bills of materials in Syspro Maintain design technical files Adhere to relevant legislation for trailer design (VCA) Test products and new ideas Program CNC Laser and Router machines Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Proficiency in 3D CAD (ideally Creo, but ..... full job details .....
