This innovative and forward-thinking organisation designs and builds high-performance equipment for global markets and is recognised for its investment in cutting-edge technology and product development.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new projects, the company is seeking to appoint a Senior Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing its next generation of products.Your new roleAs a Senior Design Engineer, you will take a lead role in RandD and new product development, working from concept through to production. You will be responsible for driving innovation, improving existing designs, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions aligned with customer and market requirements.Key responsibilities will include:Leading RandD activities focused on new product development and innovationDesigning and developing mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)Conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, and product testingEnhancing existing machinery designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturabilityPerforming engineering analysis and validation of designsCollaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical, and procurementSupporting projects from concept through to production and market releaseProducing and maintaining detailed engineering documentationWhat you''ll need ..... full job details .....
