The role offers the chance to lead the development of innovative mechanical products, taking projects from initial concept through detailed design, prototype build, testing and final commissioning.You''ll provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on with design, working closely with manufacturing, projects and customers to deliver high-quality engineered solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of complex mechanical equipment from concept through to manufacture and site commissioning.Produce and review 3D CAD models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation.Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring designs are delivered on time, to specification and within budget.Mentor and support a small team of Design Engineers, providing technical guidance and driving engineering best practice.Carry out engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews.Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.Manage engineering change control and design release ..... full job details .....
