About the Role

A Senior Defence Systems Engineer, Maritime is required in Waltham Cross to lead product concept, design, development, and delivery for external clients. This permanent position involves coordinating with cross-functional teams across Software, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. Candidates must possess defence engineering experience covering systems and product lifecycles from concept through integration and test. Essential skills include knowledge of radar, radio systems, communications protocols, and bid proposals. Familiarity with naval platforms, navigation equipment electronics, EMC, and ESD is also expected. British citizenship is required for UK Security clearance eligibility. A valid UK driving licence is beneficial. The salary ranges from £63,000 to £75,000 per annum.

Systems Engineer required ideally with Maritime Defence or Radio Naval Navigation industry experience to manage external customer driven product concept, design, development and delivery with cross functional internal teams including Software, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Requirements
British Citizen eligible for UK Security clearance.
Defence engineering experience of systems and product lifecycles from concept design, integration and test.
Valid UK Driving License
Beneficial
