Manage SQL Server and Teradata platforms.Develop and support SSIS ETL solutions.Lead database upgrades and issue resolution.Senior Database Engineer Salary: Up to £65,000Location: Bradford - Hybrid (2 days a week on-site) My client is looking for an experienced Senior Database Engineer to join its Technology andamp; Transformation team. This is a hands-on role combining Database Administration (DBA) and ETL development, with responsibility for supporting and improving the clients database and data integration environments. With a programme of database upgrades approaching, they re looking for a senior engineer who can take ownership of technical problems, make pragmatic decisions and drive issues through to resolution without requiring close supervision. The core environment includes Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and Teradata, with the organisation expected to move increasingly towards Microsoft Fabric in the future. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor and maintain SQL Server and Teradata database environments. Support upcoming database upgrades, patching and migrations. Develop, maintain and troubleshoot ETL/ELT solutions using SSIS and SQL/T-SQL. Monitor and optimise database and ETL performance. Investigate and resolve database, data integration and production issues. Support backup, recovery, resilience and database security.
