We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Visualisation Engineer to join a growing Analytics team in Liverpool. This role focuses on creating innovative and impactful data visualisations to drive decision-making in the Retail industry.

The company are a family owned, British discount retail business. Known for offering a wide range of products, including homeware, toys, food, and more, at discounted prices. The Liverpool based company has grown from a single store to a nationwide chain with over 500 stores.

Description

The successful Senior Data Visualisation Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain data visualisation dashboards to support business strategies.
• Collaborate with Analytics and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
• Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable visuals for stakeholders.
• Ensure all visualisation tools meet high standards of accuracy and usability.
• Optimise data visualisation processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Provide technical expertise on data visualisation tools and best practices.
• Identify trends and opportunities through advanced data analysis techniques.
• Support training initiatives to improve team members'' understanding of data visualisation.

Profile

A successful Senior Data Visualisation Engineer should have:

• Strong expertise in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• A proven track record of creating impactful data dashboards and reports.
• Solid knowledge of data analytics and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in SQL and other query languages.
• An understanding of ETL.
• A background in the Retail industry is advantageous but not essential.
