SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST LONDON- HYBRID UP TO £75,000 I''m currently working with a leading UK fintech that is looking to bring in a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing decision science team.You''ll be responsible for developing and deploying models that support underwriting decisions, pricing strategies, and fraud detection, working closely with product, engineering, and risk teams to ensure models are robust, scalable, and delivering commercial value.THE ROLE Develop and enhance credit risk models, including scorecards and machine learning models for underwriting and portfolio managementBuild pricing models and optimisation strategies to support customer acquisition and portfolio profitabilityDesign and improve fraud detection models to identify suspicious activity and reduce financial lossesWork closely with product, risk, and engineering teams to deploy models into productionAnalyse large datasets to uncover insights that inform decisioning strategiesMonitor model performance and drive continuous model improvementsREQUIREMENTS Strong experience developing credit risk, fraud, or pricing models within financial services or fintechStrong programming experience in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost etc.)Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasetsGood understanding of machine learning and statistical modelling techniquesHOW TO APPLY Please send your application below or reach ..... full job details .....
