Such differences may mean we need to make changes to our process to allow you the best possible platform to succeed, and we are happy to cater to any reasonable adjustments you may require.You will find the section to let us know of these at the bottom of your application form or you can mention it directly to your recruiter at any stage and they will be happy to help.ABOUT USCapco is a global technology and business consultancy, focused on the financial services sector.We are/have:Experts across the Capital Markets, Insurance, Payments, Retail Banking and Wealth and Asset Management domains.Deep knowledge in various financial services offerings including Finance, Risk and Compliance, Financial Crime, Core Banking etc.Committed to growing our business and hiring the best talent to help us get thereFocused on maintaining our nimble, agile and entrepreneurial culture.Conducting business analysis to gain the necessary level of understanding for data definition and usageWorking closely with subject matter experts and data architects, analyse the data requirements and produce and update logical and physical data modelsIdentifying data entities and describing the relationships between them, as a model, based on business context, process and existing systems clearly showing source to target mappingsSupporting both intra-system data design and embedding of metadata management behavioursBe able to generate the physical implementation of the data modelExecution of governance related activities, including review forums and project delivery in adherence to standardsRequired ExperienceStrong data modelling experience within the financial services industry working on large scale data migration programmesGood understanding of financial reference data and experience with FS industry standard models (e.g. fpML, FIX, FIBO) is highly preferredData modelling skills and a solid understanding of the difference between conceptual, logical and physical modelsStakeholder Management experience and skills - able to converse with all levels of stakeholders to understand and extract the required business requirementsProject lifecycle implementation experience including familiarity of agile projectsUnderstanding of UML and/or logical data modelsUnderstanding of RDBMS’s and proficiency with SQLUnderstanding and experience of modelling semi-structured schemas such as JSON and/or XMLExperience with data modelling tools e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect, Erwin modelling software, Power designer, Visual Paradigm or similarExperience with curating ontologies and experience with RDF/OWL/TTL is highly preferred.Data at CapcoCapco’s global Data Practice of 800+ practitioners are an established team of data strategists, analysts, scientists, architects, and engineers who help client teams harness the power of data to drive insight, optimise performance, and commercialise data opportunities.
