SENIOR DATA ENGINEER - SC CLEARED - AWS/AIRFLOW/TABLEAU

We are urgently seeking a SC Cleared Senior Data Engineer to join a growing technology consultancy delivering data, digital and technology services into the UK Defence/MOD environment. This is a long-term opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer working across cloud data platforms, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and analytics. The role is focused on practical engineering delivery rather than people management or purely technical governance. KEY SKILLS Candidates should have strong, recent hands-on experience with: AWS Amazon S3 AWS Glue or comparable data integration tooling AWS RDS/PostgreSQL Apache Airflow Tableau development and dashboard support JupyterHub and/or RStudio PostgreSQL SQL Server Strong SQL ETL/ELT pipeline development JSON/semi-structured data Data warehouse design and implementation Data modelling Agile delivery ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion processes Develop and optimise data solutions using AWS and cloud-native technologies Build ETL/ELT processes across multiple structured and semi-structured data sources Work with JSON and other semi-structured datasets Develop and maintain data models and database solutions across PostgreSQL and SQL Server Configure and support Apache Airflow workflow orchestration and scheduling Support Tableau reporting and analytics requirements Work with JupyterHub/RStudio for data exploration and analytics activities Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance ..... full job details .....
