About the Role

Senior Data Center Project Manager at National Physical Laboratory (NPL) / UKTL. You will own and deploy infrastructure in a secure-by-design environment, shaping IT architectures that support modern containerised and virtualised telecom applications.What You’ll Do

Deploying Architecture and supporting a Telecoms Test Lab:

manage the delivery of compute servers, switching fabrics, container platforms, and applications to support systems under test.Translating Vision into Action:

take high-level business and technical requirements and break them down into actionable scopes for cross-functional teams.Capturing Requirements:

work with build, operations, and test teams to gather and document needs that shape lab architecture.Keeping Stakeholders Informed:

produce regular reports and updates to align internal and external stakeholders.Managing Vendors:

oversee third-party suppliers, ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored correctly.Driving Collaboration:

coordinate matrixed teams to deliver on technical and business outcomes.Advocating Continuous Improvement:

embed stakeholder feedback into project plans to drive ongoing enhancements.We offer flexible working options where business demands permit (full-time, part-time or flexible arrangements).Location:

Successful applicants must be able to commute to the UKTL offices in Birmingham at least twice a week.What You’ll Bring
