As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world.Job SummaryAs a Global Business Intelligence Data Engineer 3 on FreeWheel’s System Administration and Automation Team, you will leverage a dynamic skill set as you help us create and implement standards and best practices in our rapidly growing Snowflake Environment. You will be an excellent communicator who is comfortable providing expert consultation on our tool sets both remotely and in person to all levels of the organization. You will have a passion for Data technologies and will code, test, and debug new and existing applications using SQL and other Data Engineering and BI Tools. You will be driven to learn about FreeWheel’s Ad-Tech driven products (Streaming Hub, Strata, and others) and how their processes are implemented in Snowflake and other Tools such as Looker and Tableau. You will be a subject matter expert that understands how data flows across our platforms and assist in creating cleaner and streamlined data workflows throughout the FreeWheel Enterprise.12 Month Fixed Term ContractResponsibilities
Design new software and Data Engineering applications in the Snowflake EnvironmentDisplay in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in Snowflake and related technologiesDevelop advanced SQL and ETL code to support FreeWheel’s BI SystemsWork closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to understand their needs and transform them into functioning solutionsEmploy platform best practices to deliver world-class solutionsConduct regular presentations in person and remotely to all levels of the FreeWheel organizationDemonstrate process design and redesign skills; defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiencesDemonstrate project management skillsExercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significanceOur Tech Stack and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required4+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Data Pipeline EngineeringKnowledge of Snowflake Architecture, Best Practices, and Implementation is a major plusStrong knowledge of SQL Development is requiredExperience with Visualization BI tools such as Looker, Tableau and/or Power BIExperience with a scripting language (Python or R) is a plusExperience with Fivetran or other ETL Tools is a plusExperience in Advertising Technology is a major plusExperience with FreeWheel Data and Products (Streaming Hub, Strata) is a plusFluency in French is a plus, but not requiredRequirements / About you
