Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Are you an experienced cyber security professional who wants to help us make a difference? From incident management to day-to-day development and maintenance of our cyber security solutions, we re looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to ensure our digital infrastructure is safe and protected. What does this role do? As Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you ll: manage the day-to-day operations of our Cyber Security Operations Centre, supervising colleagues in the team to ensure a responsive, effective service is delivered, lead on cyber incident management, working closely with colleagues to ensure all incidents are managed swiftly and effectively, and steps are taken to mitigate future risks and keep our digital world safe, run the vulnerability management programme, proactively and continuously identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the digital infrastructure, contribute to effective cyber security architecture and engineering, ensuring high security standards are maintained at all times. First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 10th and 11th June 2026 and will take place on Teams. Could this be you? To be successful in this role, you ll need to be an experienced cyber security engineer, and we re particularly interested in candidates with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud, and application security.
