Senior Customer Services Representative

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Senior Customer Services Representative to join an established healthcare equipment supplier based in Hamilton.

Our client has supplied mobility equipment to the NHS and high street retailers for over 60 years. They''re a small, close-knit team who describe themselves as a family, and this role is genuinely varied: alongside customer service and telesales you''ll get exposure to finance, warranty and supplier management, so it suits someone who wants to understand how a business works rather than stay in one lane.

What''s on offer?

• A full-time permanent contract
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
• Paid at -15.50 per hour, around -30,000 per annum

As a Senior Customer Services Representative, your duties will include:

• Answering customer calls, taking orders and carrying out telesales activity
• Processing customer purchase orders, quotations, credits and statements
• Advising customers on pricing and product availability
• Arranging shipping through third-party logistics providers
• Creating pick instructions for the production and warehouse team
• Compiling a daily dashboard for the Managing Director
• Supporting the company accountant with debt collection and financial reporting

To be considered as a Senior Customer Services Representative, you will need:

• Previous customer service experience with a confident telephone manner
• Sales or telesales experience is essential for this role
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, adaptable approach and a willingness to learn
• Experience in a small business environment, including invoicing, is advantageous
