With a large team of criminal defence lawyers and higher court advocates, the firm handles a broad spectrum of work, including serious, complex and high-pressure criminal matters.This role would suit an experienced criminal defence solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to the continued development of a successful department.The role will involve:Managing a broad caseload of criminal defence mattersAdvising clients in serious and complex casesAttending police stations, Magistrates'' Court and Crown Court as requiredPreparing cases for trial and working closely with counsel and expertsSupervising and supporting junior lawyers and paralegalsHelping to maintain and develop strong client and referrer relationshipsContributing to the growth and reputation of the teamThe ideal candidate will have:Significant experience in criminal defenceStrong technical knowledge and excellent judgementConfidence managing serious and complex casesExcellent client care, advocacy and case management skillsPolice station accreditation and duty solicitor status would be advantageousExperience mentoring or supervising ..... full job details .....
