Senior Credit Controller

Think Accountancy and Finance are proud to be partnering with a global business, a leader in their field, to recruit a Senior Credit Controller.You would be joining an established Accounts Receivable function, so we are looking for someone who can take ownership of a high-value ledger while also supporting and guiding a small team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on but is also ready to step into a senior, influential position within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.The roleYou''ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring strong cash collection and reduced aged debt, while acting as a go-to person within the team.Alongside this, you''ll support the day-to-day running of a small Credit Control team, helping to mentor and guide best practice.Key responsibilities include:Managing high-value and complex customer accountsDriving cash collection and reducing aged debtHandling escalated queries and resolving disputes efficientlyReviewing credit limits and assessing customer riskProducing debtor reports, ageing analysis and supporting cashflow forecastingIdentifying trends and suggesting process improvementsSupporting and mentoring junior team membersWorking closely with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Customer Service) to resolve issuesThis is a role where you can genuinely add value, both operationally and from a leadership perspective.
