Senior Credit Controller required in Bristol Your new company Bristol based businessYour new role Join a fast-paced, growing business in Bristol who are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the credit control function and drive improvements in cash flow, debt recovery, and customer relationships.As Senior Credit Controller, you''ll play a key role in managing the company''s accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, reducing aged debt, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. You''ll work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Financial Controller.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the credit control process across all customer accountsMonitor and chase outstanding invoices to ensure prompt paymentBuild strong relationships with clients to resolve queries and disputesProduce regular aged debt reports and cash flow forecastsImplement and improve credit control policies and proceduresSupport month-end processes and liaise with external auditors as neededMentor junior finance staff and contribute to team developmentWhat you''ll need to succeed Minimum 3 years'' experience in credit control, ideally in a B2B environmentStrong communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementWhat you''ll get in return ..... full job details .....
