Senior Counsellor Location: Northamptonshire Salary: £31,000 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week) Ready to lead something from the ground up? This is a rare opportunity to launch and shape a brand-new Day Rehab programme in North Northamptonshire, working full-time (35 hours per week). As Senior Counsellor, you ll play a pivotal role in building, developing, and leading a high-performing counselling team, while making a real difference in people s lives. You ll combine hands-on clinical work with leadership, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong outcomes, and a supportive, motivated team environment. What you ll be doing Lead, manage, and develop a team of counsellors, students, and volunteers Oversee delivery of a high-quality psychosocial/psychoeducational Day Rehab programme Monitor performance, standards, and client outcomes to ensure effective service delivery Hold a caseload and support client assessments, referrals, and care planning Facilitate team meetings, supervision, and staff development Ensure accurate records, compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes What we re looking for A qualified and experienced counsellor with leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of psychosocial and psychoeducational treatment models Confident managing teams, performance, and service delivery Passionate about delivering impactful client outcomes Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement ..... full job details .....
