Senior Cost Manager

Cityscape is working with a well-regarded construction consultancy that is looking to bring in a Senior Cost Manager to join its Birmingham team.

This role offers the chance to work on one of the region’s most significant schemes, a £300m new build hospital, delivered using NEC4 contracts. You’ll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of the project from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with the client and wider project team.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to major projects and wants to take real ownership within a collaborative consultancy environment.

The Role

• Lead cost management on a flagship £300m hospital development
• Prepare cost plans, manage procurement and oversee tender processes
• Administer and manage projects under NEC4 contracts
• Produce cost reports, manage change and maintain commercial control
• Work closely with clients, contractors and the wider delivery team
• Support and mentor junior team members

What They’re Looking For

• Consultancy-side Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager experience
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC4 ideally)
• Experience on major public sector or healthcare projects is advantageous
• Confident managing stakeholders and leading client interactions
• MRICS or working towards chartership

On offer is a salary up to £75,000 per annum plus benefits.
