Senior Corporate Compliance Officer

Opus People Solutions are hiring for a Senior Corporate Compliance Officer within Peterborough City Council. The role is 37 hours per week, offering hybrid working, with a contract length of 10 weeks initially. Please see a high-level overview of what the position involves below: Managing and conducting investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, irregularity and compliance issues affecting the Council Undertaking a significant volume of Blue Badge misuse investigations Gathering, reviewing and analysing evidence to support investigations Conducting interviews and maintaining detailed case records Preparing investigation reports and case files Liaising with internal departments including HR, Legal Services, Parking Services and senior management Supporting wider counter-fraud and compliance activities across the organisation The ideal candidate will have experience with: Managing investigations from referral through to outcome Evidence gathering, interviewing and case management Writing clear and concise investigation reports Working with multiple stakeholders and managing sensitive information Fraud, compliance, enforcement, regulatory or similar investigations Blue Badge investigations, counter-fraud investigations Previous experience within Local Government If this role is of interest to you, please submit a copy of your CV and a mobile number.
