Senior Controls Engineer / Control Software Engineer to c£65k neg dep exp plus benefits East Midlands - commutable from Nottingham, Leicester and Coventry Our Leicester based client demonstrates almost 40 years'' experience in the manufacture of bespoke automation and robotic systems for a range of industrial applications and are regarded as one of the leading automation system solution providers in the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Controls Engineer to complement their established professional team and deliver machine control system solutions allied to a range of automated machinery-based projects. Tasked with writing and developing software, PLC and HMI coding for various automation projects, as a Senior Controls Engineer you will also be responsible for the electrical design and creation of machine control system solutions for special purpose automated machinery projects. Other duties will include delivering control and safety systems that comply with the requirements of the machinery directive and appropriate applicable standards, and electrical system design, selection of components and generating detailed circuit diagrams as required.
