Senior Control Systems Engineer Sheffield We are now seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing engineering team at our brand-new regional hub in Sheffield. This is a technically focused role, responsible for leading the design, development and commissioning of advanced control and automation systems across a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring high quality technical delivery. Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices. Build strong client relationships through effective technical communication, presentations and documentation. Take ownership of technical tasks and projects, delivering to budget, quality, safety and programme expectations. Produce and review specifications, design documents and engineering reports. Develop, configure and implement control system application software across multiple platforms. Conduct testing and commissioning activities in live operational environments. Maintain consistently high engineering standards throughout the design and delivery process. Lead or work within multi disciplinary teams, adapting to a variety of environments. Ensure compliance with the company s Integrated Management System. Contribute to continuous improvement and support the development of the wider engineering community.
