Our client, a respected and growing industrial automation specialist, is seeking Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead and manage high-impact automation projects. You''ll take ownership of full life cycle delivery - from design and development to commissioning - while acting as a technical lead and client liaison.

Senior Controls Engineer - The Role:

• Lead design and development of PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems
• Produce and review technical documentation including FDS, test protocols, and commissioning reports
• Oversee commissioning on-site, ensuring quality and safety standards
• Manage subcontractors, procurement processes, and project milestones
• Act as point of contact for clients, offering technical guidance and project updates

Senior Controls Engineer - The Person:

• Strong experience in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider)
• Advanced SCADA development skills (e.g. AVEVA System Platform, ClearSCADA, FTView SE)
• Proven experience in full project life cycle delivery within a systems integrator
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client facing skills
• Degree qualified in engineering (or equivalent experience) 
• Full UK valid driving licence
