adi Automation - Senior Control Systems Engineer Location - Wirral, Liverpool About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Wirral. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of automation projects from initial client requirements through to design, programming, commissioning and handover. You will be expected to develop control solutions from scratch and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver turnkey automation projects across sectors including food, beverage, chemical, marine and materials handling. Your key responsibilities will include: Liaising directly with clients to understand requirements and develop appropriate engineering solutions. Taking ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning and handover. Designing, developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA systems from scratch. Developing PLC software using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens platforms. Designing and implementing HMI and SCADA systems. Supporting FAT, commissioning and site start-up, resolving technical issues through to completion. Working with electrical, process safety and software engineers to deliver turnkey solutions. Preparing technical solutions and costed proposals where required.
