What you''ll be doing;
- Contribute to and implement Veolia strategies for Total Waste Management increasing the market share within Central Scotland
- Manage Veolia''s contractual obligations with the customer in line with Veolia''s policies
- Manage and support the contract managers and operational teams across of a number of Total Waste Management contracts
- Ensure Veolia''s safety systems are applied, monitor leading and lagging indicators
- Ensure compliance of clients waste operations across all contracts
- Responsible for equipment & assets both rentals and own assets to meet the fulfilment of the contract in the most cost effective manner
- Have or be able to achieve CPC Transport Management qualification and act as Transport Manager ensure compliance of small in-house fleet and rental vehicles used.
- Management of contract meetings and reporting to ensure the benefits of the service provided are clearly articulated and meet the clients expectations I.e. statutory compliance, sustainability, communications, innovation, client satisfaction and savings
- Network among target industries to find opportunities for new contracts and with the Business Development team convert them into new business
- Work with colleagues across Veolia''s business to leverage existing capabilities, identify opportunities to work together on opportunities and cross sell with existing clients
- Subject Matter Expert for contract portfolio and using your knowledge to create further opportunities within the Central Scotland Geography
What we''re looking for;
- Previous site and contract management experience is essential
- 5 years waste or similar experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Health and Safety qualification- IOSH or NEBOSH
- Experience managing Profit and Loss accounts beneficial
