The Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) Senior Consultant will play a key role in executing the operational risk management program across the organization. This position requires a strong technical understanding of risk management, including RCSA processes and activities within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Manage the RCSA program deliverables — action plans, post-effectiveness testing, control evaluation, and related activities.

Review workflows to identify and manage risks within the program and improve the overall control environment.

Contribute to the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of RCSA KPI and KRI metrics.

Review KPI/KRI frameworks, scorecards, and dashboards to ensure metrics are appropriate for the RCSA program.

Develop and enhance RCSA program controls and initiate projects where required; implement controls to mitigate process risks.

Engage with stakeholders to identify issues and ensure timely remediation actions to meet deadlines.

Ensure the RCSA system of record functions properly and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.

Provide UAT testing support for the system of record as needed.

Improve risk management culture through training and awareness sessions.

Collaborate with senior management risk partners and lines of business to coordinate operational risk management activities.

Contribute to establishing and maintaining program processes that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage or lead projects aimed at improving the overall program.

Communicate identified risks to stakeholders and track remediation actions to closure.

Qualifications

Strong financial services experience in operational risk, controls, or audit.

Working knowledge of audit, risk, and operational management concepts; ability to interpret impact of decisions and identify problem areas.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to drive process assessment and improvement and to identify trends to improve processes for customers and the business.

Ability to manage multiple pri orities and make independent decisions.

Familiarity with Fusion and/or Salesforce.

Experience performing regression testing.
