OverviewSenior Consultant - Data and AI Pre-Sales Lead
at Netcompany. The role involves devising solutions to business requirements for the Data and AI domain, translating business requirements into cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions, and supporting activity within the Pre-sales and bidding space in line with UK Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies. The role is part of the GTM team and focuses on presales engagements, including exploratory meetings, workshops, bids, and account strategy discussions. The candidate will demonstrate and document Data and AI, Cloud, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering/Science/Governance and DevOps or DataOps capabilities to develop appropriate solutions, and must communicate effectively to both business stakeholders and technical users at all levels.
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid working model with some flexible working).
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective solution presales support to all aspects of sales efforts and in doing so, strengthen the qualification, progression and conversion of opportunities
Working in partnership with GTM Sales Leaders, identify and analyse specific business needs
Work closely with GTM sales leaders to qualify sales opportunities from a technical and solution viability perspective
Define solutions with the Netcompany GTM team to support client business requirements and future strategies
Act as the technical point of contact for prospects and the GTM team
Presenting and marketing the design and value of proposed solutions and business cases to clients and partners
Contribute to the shaping and responses to competitive bids, in particular, requirements analysis, specification and solution design
Completing required presales documentation quickly and accurately
Author thought leadership content that establishes and strengthens the credibility of Netcompany and supports lead generation, working with colleagues in Products and Marketing, and external lead gen agencies as appropriate
Identify and propose new / refined Netcompany propositions based on market and customer needs analysis
Provide feedback internally on customer needs and requirements
Maintain an overall understanding of the technical and commercial developments within the markets in which Netcompany operate
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor capabilities and services, and how we differentiate.
Qualifications
4+ years proven track record of complex, solution-led pre-sales for technology based service providers in the Data and AI space
2+ years'' proven track record of Data and AI delivery for complex, ideally public sector organisations
Customer focus, culture awareness and ability to understand and translate customers needs into leading-edge solutions that can be commercialised.
Detailed technical understanding of modern Data and AI technologies
Hyperscale cloud design and implementation experience (Azure, AWS mandatory, GCP and Oracle Cloud desirable)
Individual sales, influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to generate leads and opportunities in line with Netcompanys strengths
Writing proposals and managing sales meetings
Diplomatic with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating at all levels within an organisation
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with c-level executives, IT Management, architects and developers
Disciplined, organised and self-motivated, with a positive can do attitude
Prepared to travel to customer sites to support presales and advisory engagements as required.
