You will work with cross-functional teams, often on a global basis, to develop and implement data management frameworks, strategies, and solutions that reduce data risk, drive business value and enhance decision-making capabilities. Our AI and Data team is dedicated to championing the potential and careers of individuals from all walks of life, providing support including flexible working arrangements.The opportunityIn this Consulting role, you will work collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to solve complex business problems by exploiting data and analytics strategies and solutions.Data Management and Strategy – Supporting our financial services clients manage AI and Data Risk, define AI and Data Strategies, implement Data Product solutions, design Target Operating Models and enable Data Offices to become transformational to their businessSupport the build of a Data community - You will have the opportunity to engage with and represent EY at prominent networks and events and contribute to building an inclusive workforce by actively participating in communities like Women in Banking and Finance.Your key responsibilitiesCollaborate within client facing delivery teams on complex data transformation programs in Financial Services, covering roles such as AI and data strategy, data risk and control analysis, solution design, AI governance, and end-to-end implementation management.Assist clients in executing their AI and Data strategy through deployment of modern Data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.Develop and implement data management artifacts by establishing data governance requirements including data lineage discovery, data quality control design and measurement solutions and data privacy related activities.Contribute to the development of innovative ey.ai data solutions and methodologies to enhance effectiveness and reduce costs.Represent EY at industry events and networks, promoting our commitment to diversity and inclusion in AI and Data Management.Support RFP responses and contribute to thought leadership articles for market engagement.Working in diverse teams of professionals with different backgroundsContributing to thought leadership through white papers, point of views, and proof of conceptsWorking in an entrepreneurial environment to pave your own career pathAbility to meet deadlines, own deliverables and contribute to project deliverySkills and attributes for successWe’re looking for people with a passion for the delivery of AI and Data management solutions that deliver positive outcomes for customers, regulators and shareholders. You should excel in problem solving, enjoy teamwork, can demanding clients needs and communicate complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.To qualify for the role, you must have some or all of the following:Demonstratable interest and awareness in Data, AI and emerging associated technologiesGood problem solving, teamwork and communication skills, and an ability to communicate ideas effectively2+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably Insurance, working with AI or Data deliveryUnderstanding of technology trends and implications on Financial Services firms, including data platforms, digital drivers, cloud architecture, integration tools and approaches, AI methods and techniquesAbility to articulate the challenges faced in large data transformation and proposing solutions to deliver effective value across the businessSome hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python or Scala, data visualisation tools would be advantageousRelevant experience in Data Platform Technologies would be beneficialPrevious consulting experience would be a plus, but so would the curiosity and ambition to develop your career with a consulting roleWhat we look forWe are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about AI and Data and want to assist clients to become truly data driven organisations.
