Senior Consultant CFO Advisory-Accounting Reporting and Advisory role at ACCA Careers. The Accounting, Reporting and Advisory team is a critical and integrated part of our CFO Advisory business, leading relationships and supporting clients through complex financial accounting and reporting issues, addressing clients'' regulatory and external audit requirements.Responsibilities
Being a core member of a team to deliver outstanding service to clients across a variety of different advisory projects, including IPOs, MandA, transactions accounting, GAAP conversions, accounting assist and with our operational finance teamsActing as an expert regarding IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP - related matters and supporting client management on the implementation and application of accounting standardsSupporting our clients with financial reporting requirements, and implementation and application of accounting standards and methodology, including drafting of technical memos/white papers, supporting workbooks and responding to review commentsAssisting with drafting of financial related areas of financial statements and quarterly/annual reportsWorking as part of a team underneath directors and partners to achieve the best results for all our clientsProviding seamless joined up expert advice and assistance alongside other Deloitte teamsDeveloping the skills necessary for building sustained and trusted relationships with CFOs and senior finance and controls leadersSupporting the winning of new businessWhat you will use
Strong financial accounting experience with a background in external audit, advisory services, or in industry in a technical accounting, financial reporting, or financial audit roleAbility to demonstrate a mix of technical accounting expertise, practical problem-solving, project management and client relationships experience and skillsQualifications
A passion for delivering high quality complex projects including effective planning, project, financial and people managementACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA qualified or equivalentProven ability to work effectively in teamsCritical thinking applied to resolving issuesGreat attention to detailExcellent networking and influencing skillsExperience post-qualification in an audit or finance advisory capacity is preferable; however for the right candidate, experience as a finance business partner or in a line role will be consideredA relevant degree, or equivalent experienceThe ability to travel to client sites as required by this position and within government guidelinesThe ability to present client data in a clear and concise formatHigh proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and WordCompany culture and approach
