THE ROLE:
Recognised by both the Legal 500 and Chambers, the team advises an impressive client base across the public and private sectors, including developers, contractors, funders, local authorities, NHS Trusts, educational institutions, and consultants.
The successful candidate will focus on contentious construction matters, advising on disputes arising under industry-standard contracts including JCT and NEC, while representing clients in adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. You will work on complex, high-value matters alongside leading construction specialists and play an active role in developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 6 years' PQE and significant experience specialising in contentious construction law. You will possess strong technical expertise advising on disputes arising from standard form construction contracts, together with experience of adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and other forms of dispute resolution. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent commercial awareness, strong advocacy and negotiation skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. Experience gained within a respected regional, national, City or international firm will be highly advantageous.
