Responsibilities: Lead and manage scenic construction and fabrication projects through the workshop from initial production to completion Supervise and support workshop teams on a day-to-day basis, ensuring workloads, resources and deadlines are effectively managed Take ownership of assigned projects, coordinating production activity to ensure delivery against agreed timescales and budgets Accurately estimate and cost fabrication projects, taking into account materials, labour and production requirements Manage project budgets effectively, monitoring expenditure and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the fabrication and construction process Develop practical solutions to complex construction and fabrication problems Interpret technical drawings, models, plans and elevations to ensure work is produced accurately and to the required standard Work closely with production managers, designers and tec...
