Senior Construction Manager

Proactive are currently recruiting for a Senior Construction Manager to join a fast-paced and innovative creative production business specialising in large-scale events, experiential projects and bespoke fabrication. Responsibilities:Lead and manage scenic construction and fabrication projects through the workshop from initial production to completionSupervise and support workshop teams on a day-to-day basis, ensuring workloads, resources and deadlines are effectively managedTake ownership of assigned projects, coordinating production activity to ensure delivery against agreed timescales and budgetsAccurately estimate and cost fabrication projects, taking into account materials, labour and production requirementsManage project budgets effectively, monitoring expenditure and ensuring accurate financial reconciliationIdentify and resolve technical challenges throughout the fabrication and construction processDevelop practical solutions to complex construction and fabrication problemsInterpret technical drawings, models, plans and elevations to ensure work is produced accurately and to the required standardWork closely with production managers, designers and technical teams to plan fabrication and assembly processesEnsure technical information and assembly requirements are clearly communicated and documentedMaintain high standards of quality across all workshop and fabrication activitiesWork closely with workshop management to ensure machinery and equipment are appropriately ..... full job details .....
