Senior Construction Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for a contract opportunity within the nuclear sector. The role will act as the primary technical authority for construction, ensuring that site activities are delivered in accordance with approved designs, contractual requirements, safety arrangements and agreed project programmes. Security-cleared professionals with experience of major, highly regulated construction projects are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all site construction activities, ensuring delivery against approved designs, quality standards, programme targets and contractual requirements.Supervise construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring the competence, coordination and performance of all construction resources.Develop and apply processes for quality assurance, configuration management and construction management assurance, including subcontractor deliverables.Coordinate with project managers, contracts and commercial teams, project controls, designers, clients, facility managers and other stakeholders.Provide accurate construction progress information and maintain construction logic, programmes and reporting through relevant project systems, including CEMAR.Prepare and approve pre-construction information, construction phase health and safety plans, safe systems of work, waste management plans and environmental assessment plans.Plan site logistics, including laydown areas, access and egress routes, accommodation, parking, ..... full job details .....
