Senior Configuration Technician / Manager

We are beginning our search for a Senior Configuration Technician / Manager commutable to Kidderminster to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

This position is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in device imaging and configuration, and who is comfortable liaising with customers and leading technical operations. Rates will be discussed individually based on experience and suitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and replicate device images
• Liaise with customers to understand and deliver imaging requirements
• Consult on large-scale device imaging and software deployment strategies
• Use tools such as SCCM, MDM, and Autopilot for image replication
• Advise on imaging processes and software installation
• Support network setup and troubleshooting
• Work from a workshop facility; managerial role includes some home-based flexibility
• Potential leadership and oversight responsibilities for the managerial aspect

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a configuration/build/image engineer or manager
• Strong customer-facing and consulting skills
• Familiarity with enterprise imaging and deployment tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and support network environments
• Must be commutable to Kidderminster
• Managerial candidates should be comfortable with semi-remote working

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• This role has been deemed and assessed an inside IR35 role

Contract Details:

• Initial Term: 3 months
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35
