We help businesses to grow their profile within the NHS and wider public sector. In turn, we support public sector leaders and organisations with practical recommendations on implementing policy to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for local populations.We offer insight, analysis, and intelligence through research, editorial, conference events, and written reports.About the role
We are looking for a Senior Conference Producer to join our content and conference planning team. Reporting to the Head of Content and Policy, you will immediately take on responsibility for programming the content and finding the speakers for our two flagship conferences for our Integrated Care Delivery Forum in 2026. With one direct report, you will also have oversight of a number of other PPP programme conferences.With conference delegate numbers ranging from 150 to 500, and covering topics across health, care and life sciences, you will be expected to formulate unique and interesting conference programmes, attract high quality speakers and manage the successful production of market leading events.This role is suitable for someone with several years of experience in conference planning and production. It would suit someone ready to prove their expertise, who may be looking to take the step to Head of Conference Production within a year of delivering in this post.Knowledge of health, care and life sciences sectors is preferred, but not essential.Duties
To project manage the content and speakers for several in person conferencesTo work with the Head of Content and Policy to develop conference content strategy, including expanding the conference portfolioTo have a hands-on role programming PPPs 2 flagship conferences for the Integrated Care Delivery Forums (May/November)To lead strategic relationships with key stakeholders and external partners (DHSC etc), ensuring consistently high engagement levels with PPP events from key stakeholder groups and organisations.Take the lead in improving internal processes on conference best practice, and promoting the use of technology for more efficient conference delivery.1 x direct report, who programmes the Precision Medicine Forums, and Genomics conference.To set and communicate timelines for each event under your responsibility and ensure that their delivery meets expectations.To co-ordinate the work of developing marketing materials with the marketing team, to help attract delegates to the events.To work closely with the events manager on conference logistics and on the day requirements.To work with colleagues in the commercial team to co-ordinate speaker slots and align topic themes.Skills
